Hotel Habana 3/10

For a year I photographed balconies and terraces in Havana. My intention was to build a building with history. In its architecture we find all the cultures that shaped this city. Its inhabitants coexist door to door like a big family, between what is lost, what remains and what is reborn. Time passes so slowly in the Hotel Habana that past, present and future run over each other to live in the same space, with a certain harmony. Composed of more than 50 photographs, it is of immense resolution. Allowing to enter into each house. A small city full of details.

Durante un año estuve fotografiando balcones y terrazas de La Habana. Mi intención era construir un edificio con historia. En su arquitectura se encuentran todas las culturas que dieron forma a esta ciudad. Sus habitantes conviven puerta a puerta como una gran familia, entre lo perdido, lo que queda y lo que vuelve a nacer. El tiempo pasa tan lento en el Hotel Habana, que el pasado, el presente y futuro se atropellaron para vivir en un mismo espacio, con cierta armonía. Compuesta por más 50 fotografías, resulta de una resolución inmensa. Permitiendo adentrarse en cada casa. Una pequeña ciudad llena de detalles.
